The ISYS-5005 from InnoSenT is a 3D MIMO Radar Sensor that operates in the 24 GHz band to detect movement, velocity, direction, distance and angles. It delivers an output power of up to 12.7 dBm and has a range from 0.9 to over 15 m. This radar sensor can detect objects moving at speeds of 0.9 to 55.1 km/h and has multi-target capability to detect up to 8 objects at once. It has an intelligent µC pre-processing unit. The sensor is suitable for use in security and industrial applications.
The ISYS-5005 has configurable sensitivity, anti-blockade detection and has individual configurations of ignore and alarm zones. It can be controlled via a UART interface. The sensor requires a DC supply of 3.8-5.5 V and consumes 330 mA of current. It is available in a module that measures 50 x 50 x 13 mm and is ideal for perimeter surveillance, area surveillance, security applications, intrusion detection and tracking radar applications.
