The TPS-77 from Lockheed Martin is a Long-Range Surveillance  Radar System that operates from 1215 to 1400 MHz. It has an active electronic elevation scanning array and solid-state transmitters. This radar system has a range of 2 to 463 km and a scan rate of 5 to 10 RPM. It has a height coverage of up to 30.5 km and an elevation coverage of 0° to +40° with electronically adjustable tilt. This radar system has 4 agility modes, 100 center frequencies, and azimuth-based frequency control. It has a flexible time energy management system for highly configurable performance and is designed to perform multiple roles in a wide variety of missions. 

The TPS-77 has state-of-the-art Single Scan Multi Role capability along with AESA pencil beam architecture which provides unique operator-controlled mission flexibility and optimum performance for threat detection. This radar system is transportable by a C-130 military aircraft, helicopter, truck, or train. It is ideal for long-range surveillance, gap filler radar, UAV detection, low-level flight surveillance, tactical ballistic missile warning, ground-based air defense, and other unique customer missions.
