The FlexLink RSC201 Series from RF-Design are 2:1 Redundancy Switches that operate from 5 to 2500 MHz. These switches allow the output port to be switched to one input port manually/automatically while all input signals are individually monitored according to the predefined threshold level. They are designed to allow redundancy switching between an active unit to a backup unit to assure permanent and stable RF signal availability. The redundancy switches can handle an input power of 30 dBm, have an insertion loss of less than 3 dB and provide isolation of 60 dB. They are available as single (1 x 2:1) and quad (4 x 2:1) switch configurations.
The RSC201 series of switches feature a 1:1 redundant dual power supply, a front-panel status LED, and LC-Display/keypads for user-friendly local configuration. Remote access and configuration can be done via a rear side Ethernet-Interface (WebGUI/SNMP) while it can also be integrated into a third-party management and control system (NMS or M&C) via SNMP. They are available in rack-mount 1RU/19”, 400mm deep enclosures with 50-ohm SMA/75-ohm F-type/75-ohm BNC connectors. These redundancy switches are ideal for integration in teleports, satellite earth-stations as well as broadcasting and cable/IPTV headend architectures providing excellent and stable performance during operation while the highest RF performance is assured.
