The KA-6008-8433 from Kaelus is an Interference Mitigation Bandpass Filter with tuneable passbands from 3700 – 3760 MHz (Position 1) and 3700 – 3980 MHz (Position 2). In Position 1, it mitigates interference in the satellite communication band (3820-3980 MHz) while allowing it to pass through the 3700-3760 MHz spectrum (A1, A2, and A3 blocks). In Position 2, the satellite communication band is vacated, and the filter can be reconfigured to pass 3700 – 3980 MHz (A, B, and C block). The change of configuration can be performed remotely via AISG. It integrates eight identical filters that result in an 8x8 MIMO configuration, can handle an input power of 75 W per channel and has a passband insertion loss of less than 0.75 dB. This filter provides a rejection of more than 60 dB (from 3820-3980 MHz) and has a PIM of -153 dBc (2x20 W).
The KA-6008-8433 requires a DC supply from 10 to 30 V and consumes less than 15 W of power during tuning. This 50-ohm matched filter is available in an IP67-rated module that measures 201 x 108 x 296 mm with 4.3-10 (female) connectors and is ideal for use in indoor, outdoor, and other cellular applications.
