The BPF-220NFNF from NexTek is a Positive Train Control (PTC) Bandpass Filter with a passband from 220 to 222 MHz. It has a passband insertion loss of less than 1 dB and provides more than 40 dB of rejection in the stopband. The filter can handle an input power of up to 25 W and has a VSWR of less than 1.22:1. It provides optimum filtering, a sharp cut-off, notched response, and reduces the interference from co-located radios, internal (on-board), and external components.
The BPF-220NFNF is available in an IP67-rated module that measures 57.2 x 177.8 x 28.1 mm with N-Type (female) connectors. It is specifically designed for railroad positive train control, and PTC networks. The filter incorporates surge current protection up to 10 kA (IEC 61000-4-5 8uS/20uS waveform).
