The BPF-900NFNF from NexTek is a Band Pass Filter with inbuilt surge protection. It has a passband from 876 to 925 MHz with an insertion loss of 0.8 dB and can handle up to 25 watts of power. This filter has a passband return loss of over 20 dB and a band-reject insertion loss of over 60 dB above and below the passband. It provides optimum filtering with a sharp cutoff and notched response. The filter reduces the interference from co-located radios, internal (on-board), and external to increase the system’s reliability. It has been designed for railroad positive train control (PTC) networks.
The BPF-900NFNF is RoHS and REACH approved, and measures 2.25 x 7 x 1.1 inches with Type-N (F) connectors. It incorporates surge current protection up to 10 kA (IEC 61000-4-5 8uS/20uS waveform). This filter is IEC 60529 IP67 rated.
