The MDB001 from Saras Technology is a dual bandpass custom filter with passband 1 from 1.98 to 2.10 GHz and passband 2 from 2.17 to 2.29 GHz. It has an attenuation of over 35 dB and a passband insertion loss of less than 2.5 dB. This filter can handle up to 30 W of input power and is available in a module that measures 250 x 150 x 43 mm with N-type (F) connectors.
Each passband within the assembly is implemented by using a multi-section filter with high Q’s to achieve low insertion performance. There are cross-coupling networks built into the structure of the filter to provide the very tight rejection characteristics required to give the maximum useable transmission bandwidth whilst maintaining the necessary rejection performance over the interfering bandwidth.
It has been developed for Isolating wireless cameras from telecommunications operators.
