The MINI250H from Huber+Suhner is a Flexible Cable Assembly that operates from DC to 26 GHz. It is designed for internal point-to-point interconnections between RF modules within systems and allows bending immediately behind the connectors, without compromising on signal strength or stability. This cable assembly is equipped with a patented solder-less cable junction and offers excellent pull strength and mechanical durability. It features a five-shield construction that was developed to withstand the harsh environments of LEO and near-Space applications, yielding lower radio frequency leakage. The assembly also has three stainless steel screens to ensure the mechanical robustness of the cable and cable-connector junction. Strict ESA, NASA, and MIL standards are also supported.
The MINI250H cable assembly is 100% tested during pre-assembly and delivers high performance with excellent resistance to flame and corrosion. It has an outer diameter of 5.62 mm and a minimum dynamic bending radius of 22.5 mm and. It is impedance-matched to 50 ohms and has an operating temperature range from -55° to +200°C. The dielectric of this cable assembly is made out of extruded PTFE and is ideal for use in defense, space, and test and measurement applications.
