The Multiflex 318 CT from HUBER+SUHNER is a Flexible Microwave Cable that operates from DC to 18 GHz. It has an outer diameter of 7.5 mm and a minimum bend radius of 42.5 mm (static)/80 mm (dynamic). This cable has been developed for phase-critical applications that require precise electrical connectivity. It provides industry-leading phase vs temperature performance alongside a unique range of cable construction options to fulfil various customer demands. The cable has an excellent overall system accuracy and reliability which is independent from ambient temperature and specific heat of device.

The Multiflex 318 CT provides a screening effectiveness of more than 90 dB and has a velocity of signal propagation of 84%. It can handle CW power of up to 1.4 kW, exhibits a capacitance of 80 pF/m and a signal delay of 4 ns/m. The cable has an aluminium, copper clad and silver-plated center conductor, low-density fluorine polymer dielectric, outer conductor made of silver-plated copper and an FEP (Fluorinated ethylene propylene) jacket. It is ideal for Space and Defense, Test & Measurement and Medical applications.
