The IB-086 (InstaBend® 086) from Times Microwave Systems is a Flexible Microwave Cable Assembly that operates from DC to 50 GHz. It can be bent very closely behind the connector, thereby simplifying the cable routing and minimizing the footprint. This cable is ideal for connecting RF circuit cards, modules, and enclosure panels.

This cable assembly has a capacitance of 29 pF/ft, a velocity of propagation of 70%, and a delay of 1.45 ns/ft. This cable can withstand an AC voltage of up to 100 V (RMS) and provides a shielding of 90 dB. It has an outer diameter of 2.743 mm and a minimum bend radius of 6.35 mm. This cable assembly has a silver-plated copper-clad steel center conductor, silver-plated copper braid shield, metalized polyester-type interlayer, silver-plated copper-clad steel outer braid, PTFE dielectric, and an FEP jacket. It is available in SMP (female), SMA (male), and 2.92 mm (male) connector configurations.
