The InstaBend® IB-141 from Times Microwave Systems is a Flexible Microwave Cable Assembly that operates up to 27 GHz. This 50-ohm cable assembly is available in varying lengths and connector options and can be bent very closely behind the connector to simplify cable routing. It is ideal for both inside-the-box and between-box connections in applications including space flight, thermal vacuum, microwave tests, and many other commercial and military applications. This low-profile assembly can be used for making connections between RF circuit cards, modules, and enclosure panels. It has an outer diameter of 4.14 mm and a minimum bend radius of 12.7 mm.

The InstaBend® IB-141 supports an operating voltage of up to 250 V (RMS) and provides 90 dB of shielding. It has a velocity of propagation of 70%, exhibits a capacitance of 98.1 pF/m, and a delay of 4.77 ns/m. This cable assembly features a Copper (silver-plated) center conductor, which is followed by extruded PTFE dielectric, silver-plated Copper Braided shield, metalized polyester tape interlayer, silver-plated Copper clad steel outer braid, and blue FEP jacket.
