The XtendedFlex™ 178 from Times Microwave Systems is a High Flexibility Coaxial Cable that operates from DC to 3 GHz. It has an innovative design and a unique material composition to ensure consistent performance under millions of flexures and is suitable for applications that require constant cable motion and flexibility. This cable has an outer diameter of 3.12 mm and a minimum bend radius of 16.9 mm. It has a velocity of propagation of 70%, a delay of 4.76 ns/m, and exhibits a capacitance of 103.97 pF/m. The cable has a stranded silver-plated copper-clad steel center conductor, fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) dielectric, tin-plated copper braid, and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) outer jacket. It is available in customizable lengths with SMA-male or SMA-male RA connectors and is ideal for robotics and industrial automation, aerospace, medical, military, and defense applications.
