PF-402 Image

The PF402 from Times Microwave Systems is an RF Cable Assembly with a cut-off frequency of 38.4 GHz and has been designed for applications that require minimal phase change over temperature. It has a diameter of 0.160 inches with a minimum bend radius of 0.75 inches and provides shielding of 90 dB/foot. The cable uses a proprietary TF4™ dielectric that does not have an abrupt shift in a phase that occurs with solid, or tape wrapped PTFE-based products under normal room ambient conditions. It has a blue FEP jacket with an oxygen-free silver-plated copper center conductor and silver-plated copper strip outer conductor. This 50-ohm cable assembly introduces a loss of 59.4 dB/100 feet @ 18 GHz and a delay of 1.23 ns/feet. It is often used as a semi-rigid replacement due to its flexible interconnect style and is suitable for phase-sensitive applications on ground, sea, airborne, or space. This assembly can be used with multiple connector types.
