The PT-047 from Times Microwave Systems is a Phase-Stable Flexible Cable Assembly that operates up to 70 GHz. It is designed for multiple RF markets and offers high durability, making it suitable for medical and test equipments. This cable assembly provides an in-the-box flexible alternative to 047 semi-rigid cables. It is supported by a proprietary fluorocarbon TF4 dielectric material, which eliminates changes in phase occurring around 19°C.
This flexible cable assembly has a capacitance of 26.9 pF/ft and a velocity of propagation of 77%. It has an outer diameter of 1.651 mm and a minimum bend radius of 6.35 mm (static) and 19.05 mm (dynamic). The PT-047 has a silver-plated copper clad steel center conductor, a TF4 dielectric, silver-plated copper shield, silver-plated copper outer braid, an aluminum-polyimide interlayer, and an FEP jacket. It is available in SMPM (female), 1.85 mm (male), 2.4 mm (male), SMA (male), SMP (female), and SMPS (female) connector configurations.
