The WLT639 from Compex Systems is a Dual Concurrent Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) and Bluetooth (V5.1) combo module. It supports dual-band 2x2 MU-MIMO (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) WLAN standards with data rates of up to 573.6 Mbps (2.4 GHz), 1201 Mbps (5 GHz), and Bluetooth data rates of up to 2 Mbps. This module requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and has a current consumption of 798.12 mA (Tx) and 196.8 mA (Rx).
The WLT639 is based on Qualcomm’s Atheros QCA6391 chipset and supports backward compatibility with Bluetooth 1.2 and 2.X versions. The device can be controlled by the HCI UART, and PCIe Gen 2 interfaces and provides driver support for Linux and Windows 7/8.1/10 OS. It is available in a module that measures 22 x 30 x 2.8 mm with 2 x U.FL connectors for antenna interfacing. The device is ideal for security systems, robots, video streaming, PoS, digital signs, gaming machine, medical equipment, tablet PCs, handheld devices, and thin client devices applications.
