The ISP1507 Series from Insight SiP is an RF Module with an in-built MCU and Antenna, which is available in 2 variants to support sophisticated or baseline applications requiring Bluetooth 5 without Long Range connectivity. The series is based on the Nordic nRF52811 Chip (SoC) integrating a 2.4 GHz transceiver, a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 CPU with 192/512 kB flash memory, and 24/64 kB SRAM supporting analog and digital peripherals. The module operates over a DC supply of 3.6 V and has a DC-DC Converter with a complete loading circuit.
It supports 30 GPIOs (Analog and Digital), ADC, SPI, UART, PDM and I2C Interfaces with an integrated 32 MHz & 32 KHz crystal clocks. The module supports Central, Peripheral or both roles for BLE and other proprietary protocols. It also provides extensive software support for ANT applications with S212 Soft Devices and dual ANT/BLE stack S332 Soft Devices. The fully qualified BLE stacks for nRF52 are implemented in the S112/S132 Soft Devices which can be freely downloaded. This module also has an optional NFC-A Tag for OOB pairing.
