The ISP1807 is a miniature Bluetooth LE Module from Insight SIP that is based on the nRF52840 chip from Nordic Semiconductor. It offers a Bluetooth 5 stack including long range, high throughput, advertising extensions and improved coexistence, in addition with IPv6 connectivity, Mesh capabilities, and thus can form the hub of IOT (Internet of Things) solutions.
The module has the NFC touch-to-pair capability integrated which adds a further feature that would have previously required additional components. It also supports additional protocols like ANT+, THREAD and Nordic 2.4 GHz proprietary protocol.
The ISP1807 measures 8 x 8 x 1 mm and is ideal for a wide range of applications including wearables, smart home sensors, industrial IoT applications, remotes, gaming controllers and beacons.
