The ISP2053 from Insight SiP is a dual-core Bluetooth 5.2 (BLE) module that has been designed for sensor integration, audio and complex IoT processing. It supports BT Mesh, Thread, Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4, ANT and NFC protocols. This module can deliver a data rate of 125-2000 kbps at a range of up to 450 m. It provides a Tx power of up to 8.5 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of up to -104 dBm. This module requires a DC supply of 1.7-5.5 V, consumes less than 5.8 mA of current in Tx mode and 2.7 mA of current in Rx mode. It can be controlled via GPIO, ADC, USB, QSPI, SPI, UART, I²S, PDM and PWM interfaces.
The ISP2053 is based on a Nordic Semiconductor nRF53 chip and consists of the Dual-core Cortex M33CPUs (application and network processors), fully integrated RF Matching and a DC/DC converter with loading circuit. It supports ARM TrustZone & CryptoCell 312 security. This module is available in an LGA package that measures 8 x 8 x 1 mm and has an antenna interface. It is ideal for LE Audio, professional lighting, industrial, advanced wearables, medical, smart home, asset tracking and RTLS applications.
