The WS2118-00 from Jorjin Technologies module is an ultra-low power dual-mode-radio module that combines Sigfox wireless-network technology with Bluetooth low energy (BLE). The Sigfox/BLE module has integrated ST’s BlueNRG-1 BLE System-on-Chip (SoC) and the S2-LP sub-1GHz RF transceiver. It provides an output power of up to 8 dBm (BLE) and 16 dBm (Sub-1 GHz) with a receiver sensivity of up to -88 dBm (BLE) and -130 dBm (Sub-1 GHz). The WS2118-00 has been certified for Sigfox regions RCZ1 (Europe, Middle East, South Africa) and RCZ3 (Japan). It is available in a stamp-hole 38 pins package that measures 22 x 24 x 2.8 mm and is ideal for coin-cell battery operated or energy-harvesting IoT applications.
