The BL653 Series from Laird Technologies is a certified 802.15.4 + Bluetooth v5.1 + NFC module designed for long-range Bluetooth LE and wireless industrial IoT applications. Based on Nordic's nRF52833 SoC, the module provides a data rate of up to 2 Mbps while operating over a frequency range of 2.402 to 2.480 GHz. It provides a transmit power of up to 8 dBm while operating over supply from 1.7 to 5.5 V. This module has a receive sensitivity of -95 dBm @ BLE 1Mbps and -103 dBm @ BLE 125 Kbps. The Nordic SoC also supports NFC and ZigBee/Thread functionality. It measures 15 x 10 x 2.2 mm and has certifications and approvals for FCC (USA), IC (Canada), CE, MIC and RCM.
