The BT830 Series from Laird Technologies is a range of UART HCI modules that support Bluetooth v4.0 dual mode for classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) in a tiny footprint measuring 8.5 x 13 mm. These modules provide an output power of 7 dBm and have an on-board band pass filter to further reduce the regulatory and testing requirements for OEMs, providing a hassle-free development cycle. They offer an HCI interface with native support for Windows CE/Mobile and Linux Bluetooth software stacks. They support a UART, GPIO, I2S and PCM audio interfaces. The BT830 Seriesare available with an options for an integrated antenna or for an external antenna via a trace pin.
