The RM1xx series from Laird Technologies are ultra-low power modules for long-range Enterprise IoT (EIoT) deployments that integrates Bluetooth v4.0 with a long range LoRa radio link. The modules have a transmit power from -20 to 3 dBm and have a receiver sensitivity of -135 dBm with a coverage range of up to 15 km (~10 miles). They support smartBASIC, an event-driven programming language that enable customers to develop a complete embedded application inside the compact RM1xx hardware, connecting to a wide array of external sensors via its I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, or GPIO interfaces. The modules measures 25.4 mm x 25.4 mm x 3.1 mm and are ideal for smart metering, Industrial automation, monitoring and control applications. They are FCC, CE complaint and will be LoRa Alliance certified and fully interoperable with any LoRaWAN-adherent gateway.
