The new FMLR-1110-x-STL0Z from Miromico is an ultra-low-power IoT platform-in-a-module that integrates a long-range LoRa® transceiver, wireless scanners for multi-constellation GPS/GNSS, and passive Wi-Fi AP MAC addresses targeting asset management applications.
The module utilizes Semtech’s LoRa Cloud™ geolocation capabilities, to significantly reduce power consumption by determining asset location in a Cloud-based solver. It has an integrated ARM Cortex-M0+ 32-bit microcontroller that runs the entire RF stack and has sufficient resources available to run user applications.
The module integrates an accelerometer and a combined humidity/temperature sensor. The FMLR family supports additional modulation schemes over LoRa®. These modulation schemes include (G)FSK, (G)MSK, ASK, and OOK. This enables communication with standards like Wireless M-Bus and IEEE802.15.4g. The modules also allow the emulation of proprietary systems such as Nordic NRF905 or NRF9E5 with enhanced coverage range.
The FMLR-1110-x-STL0Z module measures 14 x 19.5 mm and is ideal for smart agriculture, smart city / smart building, tracking and monitoring, low power RF systems, industrial and home automation, telemetry, UART / SPI / I2C wireless bridging, and low data rate IoT applications.
