The FMLR-61-U-RSS3 from Miromico AG is a low power LoRaWAN RF Module that can be used to provide low-data rate wireless connectivity over a distance of more than 50km. The module integrates the Semtech SX1261 ultra-long-range spread-spectrum wireless transceiver and Renesas S3A6 ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit microcontroller, and features 256 KB code flash memory, 8 KB data flash, and 32 KB SRAM. Operating from 1.8V to 3.3V, it consumes just 1.4 uA of current in sleep mode and 25.5 mA of current in TX mode. The external antenna module has a receiver sensitivity of -148 dBm in LoRa mode [email protected] kHz, and operates over a temperature range from -40 to 85°C. It uses the new licensed LoRaWAN stack with Firmware-Over-The-Air (FOTA) capabilities.
The FMLR-61-U-RSS3 module measures 14.2 x 19.5 mm and is ideal for urban as well as rural sensing applications such as metering, asset tracking, building automation, security, wearables, and predictive maintenance.
