The FMLR-72-x-STL0Z from Miromico are LoRa modules that operate from 860 to 1020 MHz. These modules can enable wireless connectivity to almost all devices, systems and sensors communicating at a low data rate over a distance of more than 50 km. Power consumption of the underlying nodes can be optimized to run from a small-sized battery, while the integrated wake on radio (WoR) allows the system to operate in a duty-cycled manner.
The optionally integrated ARM Cortex-M0 32-bit microcontroller runs the entire RF stack and has sufficient resources available for the integration of additional applications. The system can easily be extended with additional low power sensors on the external carrier board to build out-of-the-box IoT sensor networks.
Other than LoRa, the FMLR-72-x-STL0Z modules support a wide range of modulation schemes such as (G)FSK, (G)MSK, ASK, and OOK which enables communication with standards like Wireless M-Bus and IEEE802.15.4g.
The modules are suitable for applications such as low data rate IoT, telemetry, smart city/building, tracking and monitoring, smart agriculture, battery-powered sensors, low power RF systems, remote data logging, home automation and UART/SPI/I2C bridging. They also allow the emulation of proprietary systems such as Nordic NRF905 or NRF9E5 with enhanced coverage range.
These LoRa modules are available with an antenna pad or UFL Connector.
