The FMLR-80-U-STL4E-4M from Miromico is a 2.4 GHz LoRa and LoRaWAN IoT transceiver module that delivers a data rate of up to 1.3 Mbps. The FMLR LoRa® and LoRaWAN® IoT modules enable wireless connectivity to devices, systems and sensors communicating with high data rates or over a long distance.
The FMLR-80-U-STL4E-4M is based on a Semtech SX1280/SX1281 chipset and has an integrated STM32L451REI6 controller. It has 512 kB of flash memory, 160 kB of SRAM and 4Mbit external flash. The module supports long range Time-of-Flight (ToF ranging) distance-measurement and additional modulation schemes like FLRC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). It can be controlled via UART, SPI and I2C interfaces (USB option also available). The module can be extended with low power sensors to build production ready IoT sensor nodes.
The transceiver requires a DC supply of 1.9-3.6 V, consumes 18 mA of current in Tx mode, 4.8-8.6 mA in Rx mode and 1.5 mA in sleep mode. Power consumption of the transceiver can be optimized to run from a small-sized battery.
The transceiver is available in a module that measures 14 x 19.5 mm and has a U.FL connector. It is ideal for high data rate or long-range IoT, telemetry, tracking and tracing, smart city, smart agriculture, Industry 4.0, smart building, battery-powered sensors, low power RF systems, remote data logging, and wireless bridging applications.
