The LBEE5XV1XA-540 from Murata is a 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth 5.2 Combo Module. It is based on an Infineon CYW54591 combo chipset and implements highly sophisticated enhanced collaborative coexistence hardware mechanisms and algorithms, which ensure that WLAN and Bluetooth collaboration is optimized for maximum performance. This module supports up to 256 QAM in 20 MHz, 40 MHz, and 80 MHz channels for WLAN operation. It supports 2x2 MIMO and Real Simultaneous Dual Band (RSDB) technology that enables two unique data streams to run at full throughput simultaneously.
The LBEE5XV1XA-540 delivers a PHY data rate of up to 866 Mbps on Wi-Fi and 3 Mbps on Bluetooth. It requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes less than 440 mA of current in Tx mode and 180 mA of current in Rx mode. It can be controlled via PCIe v3.0 Gen 1 (Wi-Fi), 4-wire UART (Bluetooth), and PCM/I2S (audio data) interfaces. This module is available in a shielded resin SMT package that measures 11.4 x 8.9 x 1.4 mm and is ideal for IoT, industrial IoT, smart homes, handheld wireless systems, audio/video/voice, and gateway applications.
