The LBUA2ZZ2DK (Type 2DK) from Murata is an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) + Bluetooth LE Combo Module. It operates in the 2.4 GHz (for Bluetooth) and from 6250 to 8250 MHz (for UWB) covering UWB channels 5 and 9. This module has an NXP Trimension SR040 UWB chipset, an NXP QN9090 ARM Cortex-M4 MCU + Bluetooth LE chipset with 640 KB Flash and 152 KB SRAM. It has an onboard antenna and peripheral components and is suitable for UWB tag/tracker which operates by coin-cell battery, and general IoT devices.
The LBUA2ZZ2DK has a 32.768 kHz internal sleep clock, a 55.2 MHz internal system clock (for SR040), and a 32 MHz internal system clock (for QN9090). It requires a DC supply of 3 V and has exceptionally low power consumption to support coin-cell battery operation. This module is available in a surface mount LGA package that measures 19.6 x 18.2 x 2.3 mm with an integrated UWB/Bluetooth LE onboard antenna.
