NINA-B1 is a stand alone Bluetooth Low Energy Module that has been developed for the Industrial Internet of Things. The module is supports Bluetooth V4.2 and requires a power supply of 1.7 to 3.6 V. It consumes 7 mA of current at 3 V while transmitting at 0 dBm. It can be configured to have an output power of up to 4 dBm. The module has a Rx sensitivity of -97 dBm. The NINA-B1 is available with an internal antenna or with an antenna pin.
These modules are ideal for applications such as health care, asset tracking, connected cities, home automation, smart energy, manufacturing and telematics. This standalone module with no additional hardware required, can be directly connected with additional sensors, including temperature sensors, accelerometers, LEDs to the module via GPIO, ADC, I2C, SPI and UART.
