The Setebos-I from Wurth Elektronik is a 2.4 GHz Radio Module with configurable Proprietary/Bluetooth LE 5.1 modes. It uses the nRF52840 SoC from Nordic Semiconductors and can work as a Thyone-I module (proprietary mode) or a Proteus-III module (BLE 5.1 mode). The module delivers an RF bitrate of up to 2 Mbps and has a line-of-sight range of 600 m. It provides a Tx power of 6 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -100 dBm. The module requires a DC supply of 3 V, consumes 18.9 mA of current in Tx mode, 7.7 mA of current in Rx mode, and 0.4 μA of current in sleep mode.
The Setebos-I can be controlled via a UART interface and has 5 configurable I/O pins. It is available in a nano-SIM package that measures 8 x 12 x 2 mm and supports a 2-in-1 smart antenna configuration.
