The Stingray SRY-TX-B2-925 from ETL Systems is an Outdoor RF-over-Fibre (RFoF) Transmit ODU that operates from 50 to 2450 MHz. This single-channel unit uses a DFB laser with an optical wavelength of 1310 nm to deliver an optical output power of 3.8 dBm. It has a short circuit-protected LNB that has a noise figure of 12 dB and an OIP3 of 17 dBm. This RFoF unit requires a DC supply of 12 V, consumes 15 W of power, and supports dual-redundant hot-swappable external units. It allows extensive local monitoring which includes full remote monitoring, PSU voltage, RF current, temperature, laser power, RF modulation power, and laser optical power. This ODU includes LED indicators for the module and power and status.
The SRY-TX-B2-925 is available in an IP65-rated waterproof housing that measures 85 x 50 x 165 mm with N-type (50-ohm) or F-type (75-ohm) RF connectors and Senko IP-SC/APC fiber output connector.
