The Sat-Light Gold GL7330 70/140MHz from Global Foxcom is an IF Optical Link that operates from 10 to 200 MHz. This L-Band link is designed for a wide range of satellite up and downlinking facilities whereby high CNR levels are required. It consists of a high input power optical transmitter, which receives the RF signal from an IF modem, and an optical receiver that connects to the antenna BUC. The link provides an RF link gain of up to +10 dB, has a noise figure of less than 21 dB, and a CNR of 60 dB. It delivers an optical output power of more than 1 dBm and supports an optical wavelength of 1310/1550 nm. The link accommodates both digital and analog modulation schemes and achieves low phase by direct modulation of the laser diode. It has a transmission distance of 10 Km and is optimized for professional satellite applications.
The Sat-Light/Gold 70/140MHz uses a high dynamic range DFB laser from Global Foxcom which delivers exceptional signal quality for the most demanding applications. The link supports SNMP, Ethernet, and Serial Data Communication. It requires a DC supply of 13 V, consumes a current of 0.4 A in Tx mode and 0.3 A in Rx mode. This link has F-type and SMA RF connectors, and FC/APC or SC/APC optical connectors.
