The 4500C from Boonton is a Peak Power Analyzer that operates from 30 MHz to 40 GHz. It is ideal for capturing, displaying, analyzing and characterizing microwave and RF power in both the time and statistical domains. It is ideal for design, verification, and troubleshooting of pulsed and noise-like signals used in commercial and military radar, electronic warfare (EW), wireless communications (e.g., LTE, LTE-A, and 5G), and consumer electronics (WLAN), as well as education and research applications.
The Analyzer has a power measurement range of -60 dBm to +20 dBm with a video bandwidth of 125 MHz and rise/fall time of less than 5 ns. It has a base time resolution of less than 100 ps from its B trigger qualifier and gives a dynamic range of greater than 80 dB. It has a pulse repetition frequency of up to 50 MHz and a pulse width of more than 6 ns. With Real-time Power ProcessingTM, it achieves sample acquisition rates of up to 100 MS/s and gives an overall accuracy of 0.2 dB.
The analyser is available in a desktop or rackmount package with two RF and two trigger channels along with USB I/O ports.
