The NRP6A(N) from Rohde & Schwarz is an RF Power Sensor with a frequency range from 8 kHz to 18 GHz. It has a three-path diode configuration with a dynamic range of 93 dB (from -70 dBm to +23 dBm) and low influence of the modulation on the measurement. This power sensor is designed for EMC applications and can measure continuous average power. It has various detachable cables for connecting to diverse display units and includes a screw connection to prevent accidental loosening of the cable. The power sensor requires a DC supply of 5 V (USB-powered) and includes an RJ45 Ethernet interface with support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
The NRP6A(N) measures 73 x 26 x 146 mm with N-type (male) connectors. It is ideal for remote monitoring applications such as satellite systems or particle accelerators, where sensors must be placed at different points in the system. The LAN interface makes it easy to overcome large distances between the various test points and the control center.
