The ERSAFR1-Ux Series from Excelwave Technology are Signal Repeaters that operate from 380 to 512 MHz. They deliver an output power of 2 W (~33 dBm) with a gain of 80 dB and have a noise figure of less than 8 dB. These signal repeaters have spurious levels of -30 dBm and an intermodulation distortion of better than -40 dBc. The uplink and downlink frequencies are field programmable with fixed bandwidth preset at the factory. They have integrated SAW filters to provide high out-of-band rejection and include automatic gain control to protect the donor site from interruption and maintain stable power. These repeaters are designed to allow small to medium sized areas to have reliable voice communication and data throughput.
The ERSAFR1-Ux Series repeaters have a built-in LCD control panel and signal strength indicator to locate the donor signal source and set up the system on-side without additional equipment. They include an auto turn-off feature for self-oscillation protection and can either be manually or automatically turned ON when the self-oscillation alarm is dismissed. These repeaters are available in enclosures that measure 14.96 x 12.20 x 5.91 inches with N-type (female) connectors (IP65-rated chassis available for outdoor and harsh environment applications). They require an AC supply of 110 V and can auto-switch to a DC supply of 24 V in case of AC supply failure.
