AMCORJD-3 Image

The AMCORJD-3 from Link Microtek is a 3-Channel Microwave Rotary Joint that operates in the X-band from 8.5 to 9.5 GHz. One channel of this joint is used to transmit, and the others are used to receive signals in radar systems for coastal/border surveillance or critical infrastructure protection. It enables microwave signals to be fed to or from a compact radar antenna rotating continuously at more than 60 rpm and typically exposed to harsh environmental conditions such as wind, rain, and salt spray. This rotary joint can handle an average input power of 50 W and a peak input power of 200 W. It has an insertion loss of 1.2 dB and provides isolation of 80dB.

The AMCORJD-3 uses a non-contacting design, so the only wearing parts are the bearings. It is fabricated from lightweight aluminium with a Surtec finish and incorporates IP65 sealing to protect it from the ingress of moisture and dust. This robust rotary joint measures 84 (Dia.) x 150 (L)) mm and has N-type connectors on the rotating side and SMA-type connectors on the fixed side.
