The RFeye Node 100-40 from CRFS is a portable and rugged high-performance RF sensor for real-time 24/7 spectrum monitoring and geolocation of transmitters up to 40 GHz. It operates from 9 kHz - 40 GHz frequency range and has a 100 MHz instantaneous bandwidth. The RFeye 100-40 enables operators to monitor higher frequencies with advanced signal intercept by incorporating the latest superheterodyne receiver technology. It can be used to identify low-power signals in real-time along with other signals that have a low probability of intercept. Packaged in a compact, rugged and weatherproof housing, it has been optimized for size, weight and power (SWaP) and is simple to connect to power and network. It is a complete spectrum monitoring and geolocation system (compatible with GPS, QZSS, GALILEO, and GLONASS) designed for remote deployment both indoors and outdoors and in hostile environments. It has powerful software and APIs through which it can be programmed and controlled.
The Node 100-40 is characterized by outstanding noise figure, channel re-tune time and spurious-free dynamic range parameters, well above any other product in its class. It also offers all of the multi-mission capability of the RFeye product range allowing multiple concurrent measurements and geolocations to be performed and multiple users to connect simultaneously from remote locations. It can be used for a wide range of applications including Military – Test range monitoring, EMCON Satellite monitoring, Upper 5G monitoring and for Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM).
