The FPLNFNFDP05 from NexTek is a Coaxial RF Surge Protector that operates from 1.1 to 1.7 GHz. It can handle an input power of 5 W, a surge current of 30 kA, and a response time of 10 ns. This 50-ohm surge protector has an insertion loss of 0.1 dB and a VSWR of 1.10:1. The protector requires a turn-on DC voltage of 5 V and consumes less than 2.5 A of through current. It has a DC pass for amplified antennas and includes bulkhead grounding that provides excellent voltage protection. This surge protector is available in a waterproof aluminium package that measures 90.0 (L) x 30.5 (Dia.) mm with N-type (female) connectors and is suitable for use in satellite navigation applications like GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and it is tested under military environment standards.
