The PTC-NFF-180 from NexTek is an RF Surge Protector that operates from DC to 7 GHz. It can handle an input power of up to 150 W and a multi-strike current of 20 kA (1x) and 10 kA (multiple). This surge protector has a turn-on time of 4 ns (for 2 kV/ns). It is based on Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) technology and offers bi-directional surge current protection. This compact RF protector requires a positive/negative DC supply of ±60 V. It is available in an IP67-rated waterproof module that measures 2.29 x 0.98 x 0.54 inches with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for public safety, HAM radio, distributed antenna systems, GPS systems, wireless applications that require DC bias, and Wi-Fi applications.
