The CTX SMT Series from Smiths Interconnect are SMT Chip Terminations that operate from DC to 67 GHz. They can handle up to 1 watt of CW power with a VSWR of less than 1.5:1. The terminations are available in a small 0603 package and are manufactured using thin-film technology and tested per MIL-PRF-55342 to ensure long term Hi-Reliability.
Several qualification tests have been completed to ensure long term reliability in critical applications, including thermal shock, burn, RF over-temperature, low-temperature operation, high-temperature exposure, peak power, and solder mount integrity. These terminations are ideal for RF and microwave applications in defense, space, aerospace, and 5G broadband demanding market segments. These terminations are available in a surface-mount package and are suitable for use in amplifier circuits, isolators, Tx/Rx modules, up/down converters, instrumentation, and satellite communications.
