The RPU-4A1G1 from CesiumAstro is a Ka-Band Reconfigurable Transceiver that operates from 17.7 to 21.2 GHz (Tx) and 27.5 to 31 GHz (Rx). It delivers data rates of over 2 Gbps and has 4 channels each for Tx and Rx with bandwidth of up to 1000 MHz (Tx/Rx) enabling applications with multiple polarizations, multiple antennas, or multi-beam apertures. This full-duplex transceiver supports standard modulation and coding schemes, including DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X waveforms, with support for on-orbit reconfiguration. It has an FPGA processor that performs modulation, demodulation and coding algorithms. This transceiver has UDC, LO, PCU and SDR-2104 core modules connected via SpaceVPX interfaces. It is available in a housing that measures 247 x 224 x 195.4 mm and requires a DC supply from 22 to 36 V and. This transceiver is designed for the challenging environment of space and meets NASA GEVS standards for thermal, shock and vibrations.
