Morpheus X2 Image

The Morpheus X2 from Filtronic is an E-band Transceiver Module that operates from 71 to 76 (Tx) GHz and 81 to 86 GHz (Rx). This turn-key solution for carrier-grade mobile XHaul applications is based on Filtronic’s proven Morpheus II platform and supports channel links up to 10 Gbps. Each module contains all the transmit and receive functions necessary for the RF section of an E-Band link and provides a simple connection to a high data rate full duplex modem. It has an integrated diplexer that connects directly to an antenna via WR-12 waveguide interface and it also features low phase noise VCOs that are settable via an SPI interface in 31.25 MHz steps to support ECC/ITU channel arrangements.

The Morpheus X2 is designed for easy incorporation into ODUs for rapid time to market with minimal customer engineering resources. It has a compact form factor and reconfigurable architecture, making this transceiver module ideal for developing ultra-high-capacity payloads and ground systems for LEO satellite constellations and High-Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS).
