The HUM-900-RC from Linx Technologies is a wideband transceiver with microcontroller that is operates from 928 MHz. It includes a Frequency Hopping Spread spectrum (FHSS) protocol. The transceiver has 8 status lines that can be individually configured as inputs to register button presses or as outputs to drive application circuitry. A selectable acknowledgement indicates that the transmission was successfully received. Primary settings are hardware-selectable, which eliminates the need for an external microcontroller or other digital interface. It has an output power of 1 dBm, which can provide a 100 m (300 feet) line of sight range. The transceivers require a 2 volts supply while consuming a transmit current from 28 to 37mA, receive current of 25mA and standby current under 1uA. The HUM-900-RC can used in reliable bi-directional remote controls and sensor applications.
