The HumDT from Linx Technologies is a wideband transceiver designed for the reliable wireless transfer of serial digital data. It includes a frequency agile over-the-air protocol and is available in a 902 MHz version and 2483 MHz version. The 900 MHz versions has an output power of up to 10 dBm, resulting in a line-of-sight range of up to 1,600 m (1.0 miles) and the 2.4 GHz version have output power up to 1 dBm, with a 100 m (300 feet) line of sight range. The transceivers require 2 to 3.6 volts and consume a transmit current of 19 to 40 mA, receive current of 22 to 28 mA and an idle current under 5 uA.
