The RFM3111 from Mercury is a Microwave Transceiver that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. In Tx mode, it provides a gain of 20 dB, has a noise figure of less than 26 dB, and a P1dB of 21 dBm. In Rx mode, it provides a gain of 25 dB, has a noise figure of less than 17 dB, and a P1dB of 16 dBm. The transceiver has a versatile local oscillator (LO), low-phase noise, and fast tuning speed. It is open system architecture compliant and aligned in digital and RF processing domains through OpenVPX, OpenRFM, and SOSA. The SOSA specifications enable the latest open systems standards which reduce integration time and improves upgradability.
The RFM3111 is available in a low-SWaP enclosure and is designed for demanding electronic warfare (EW) applications. It is suitable for use in the electronic attacks, ELINT, and beamforming systems.
