The FBD01Q from Millibeam is a Dual-Channel 5G NR Transceiver IC that operates in the 5G FR1 Band from 3.1 to 4.2 GHz (n77 Band) and 5G FR2 Band from 26.5 to 29.5 GHz (n257 Band). It enables inter-leaved dual-band phased array solutions for 5G applications such as macro base stations, small cells, and fixed wireless access (FWA) devices. This transceiver consists of two transmit and receive channels and has a total RF bandwidth of over 3.9 GHz. It can be integrated into base stations or FWA devices to perform beamforming with high EIRP power and eliminates the need for expensive high-gain antenna arrays or a high number of Tx/Rx elements requiring power-intensive and expensive calibration. 

The FBD01Q supports carrier aggregation and adaptive beamwidth management to provide optimal signal strength over the bandwidth. It delivers an output power of 1 W (5G FR2) and 5 W (5G FR1). This transceiver is available in a surface-mount package and is ideal for 5G FR1/FR2: FWA and small cells, satellite communications, and defense (radar, UAV) applications.
