The SX1281 from Semtech is a Long range, low power 2.4 GHz Wireless RF Transceiver with the linearity to withstand heavy interference. The device has an Rx sensitivity of up to -132 dBm and can transmit up to 12.5 dBm of power. It supports LoRa, FLRC, (G)FSK modulations and has excellent blocking immunity. This long range 2.4 GHz product includes multiple physical layers and modulations to optimize long range communication at high data rate for video and security applications. The transceiver integrates a time-of-flight functionality that allows to track and localize people, pets, drones, or objects in a factory.
The SX1281 is available in a 4 x 4 mm QFN package and is ideal for home automation, tracking, smart watches and beacons applications. The radio is fully compliant with all worldwide 2.4 GHz radio regulations including EN 300 440, FCC CFR 47 Part 15 and the Japanese ARIB STD-T66.
