The BLF989 is an LDMOS RF Power Transistor from Ampleon that operates from 400 to 860 MHz. It has been built on Ampleons's Gen9HV high voltage LDMOS process. The device provides up to 140 watts of avg. power and up to 700 Watts of peak power with a gain of 21 dB and efficiency of 34%. It also features excellent ruggedness of > 40:1, excellent operating stability and has good product consistency characteristics, which aid the whole design-in and production process for RF power equipment manufacturers.
This transistor has been developed specifically for UHF broadcast applications such as DVBT and UHF analog TV.
