The CG2H40045 from MACOM is an GaN high-electron-mobility transistor (HEMT) that provides 55 watts of power from DC to 4 GHz. The transistor has a 60% Efficiency at PSAT and requires a 28-volt rail supply. This GaN HEMT is available in a flange and pill package and is ideal for 2-way private radios, broadband amplifiers, cellular infrastructure and test instrumentation applications.
