The FlexiRay SFX is an RFID Reader with an integrated antenna. This IP65-rated reader has a slim and rugged design that enables the creation of RFID reading zones in entrances, exits, corridors, doors and gates. It operates at a frequency range from 865.6 to 867.6 MHz, has a reading speed of up to 750 tags/second and complies with the EPCGlobal Class 1 Gen2, 18000-6C protocol.
The antenna of this reader has a circular polarization and provides a gain of up to 7.5 dBi, ensuring a reading range of up to 10 meters. It is suitable for use in RFID reading zones for access and attendance systems, systems for person tracking, logistics and warehouse applications and RFID belt conveyors.
The FlexiRay SFX includes 4x optically isolated GPIO input and outputs along with Ethernet (PoE supported), USB and RS-232 communication interfaces. It uses a REST API communication interface for integration and has a web interface for reader configuration and testing. This reader is available in two sizes - 500 x 140 x 40 mm or 1000 x 140 x 40 mm and includes two antenna ports (one integrated + one external) with an RP-TNC connector for the external antenna. It has an aesthetic design suitable for interiors and supports Vesa 75 industrial standard for a variety of mounting options.
